Dina Bach

Dina Bach’s fingers first graced the keys of the family piano at the age of 10, and her love of music and ear for composition began to flourish immediately. In 2017, after years of working to make time for her music around life’s other obligations, Dina left her job as a high school Spanish teacher to pursue music full time. As a singer, songwriter, and pianist, Dina focuses on pop and country-pop where her warm vocals and playfully evocative lyrics entertain listeners and audiences alike. Her musical influences range from Sara Bareilles and Norah Jones to Carol King and Frank Sinatra.

When Dina began performing in the larger Chicago area, she quickly built a dedicated fan base. Currently, she performs solo throughout the Midwest and has played at some of Chicago’s hottest venues, including House of Blues, Joe’s Bar, Elbo Room, and Uncommon Ground. Dina also donates her time and voice to charity by performing at events such as the Autism Speaks Walk (Soldier Field, Chicago) and the Expressions Gala (Artspace 8, Chicago) in support of Autism Speaks.

In addition to solo shows, Dina routinely collaborates and shares the stage with various musicians. She opened for British singer/songwriter Callaghan, hosted a singer/songwriter showcase at Ballydoyle Pub (Downers Grove, IL), and has performed and written with two-time Grammy Award Nominee, Dave Rave. Together, Dina and Dave plan to release an album of original compositions in late 2017.

Dina's most recent release - her 2016 EP Kiss Me Like That - was made possible by the support of her fans through PledgeMusic. The album’s closing track, “Summertime,” was featured in Chicago Music Magazine’s local pulse for hot new music and Dina was invited to Chicago’s WGN Radio where she was interviewed by Mike Stephen and performed four original songs in the famous Michigan Avenue studio.

Katie & Les Bates

The Katie & Les Bates Band is a sister-brother duo band out of Chicago. KBLB is currently writing & recording their first EP, and traveling the greater Chicagoland area, playing anything from blues to rock to soul to funk to country to R&B.

The band found their roots in 2012 when Les, a recent college grad at the time, became immersed in the Chicago blues scene after playing the guitar for years.  His discovery of the blues gave flight to his guitar vocation.

Katie had sung in school and church choirs for most of her life, but strengthened her vocals while at college in the University of Illinois Black Chorus. In November 2015, Katie and Les joined to form their own, self-titled band, and the two have been developing their sound ever since.

KBLB has performed sets across Chicago proper & suburbs (Schuba's Tavern, Buddy Guy's Legends, The House of Blues, The Dawson, Skeleton Key Brewery) and Indiana (Running Vines Winery, Aftermath Cidery), in addition to private events. The two operate as an acoustic duet, as well as a band with various bass guitar players, drummers and other instrumentalists.

The Limbos

The Limbos formed in 2009 originally as a two piece under the name "Stu Benedict" with merely piano, vocals and drums. They eventually graduated to being a fivepiece consisting of organ, drums, guitar, bass, trumpet and trombone. While their sound occasionally carries a surf undertone, it is quite eclectic with influences from punk, jazz, ska, synth and many more.

Their first three albums Mmmm, Rodeo Ballet, and Corners were self released and frankly difficult to find. Their more recent works Eeny Meeny, Ten Notifications and Results! are however easy to find on all streaming services. They were signed to New Jersey's Mint 400 Records in 2016 who handle all licensing, PR and radio play outside of Chicago and the U.S.
