Main Dining Room

With its open kitchen and horseshoe bar, The Dawson’s first floor offers a versatile option for receptions and parties. Large windows provide abundant natural light, complimenting the white walls, rustic tiles and hardwood floors.

Courtyard

The expansive and acclaimed Courtyard features a variety of seating options, a full bar, and a large stone fireplace. Beautifully landscaped and designed for versatility, the Courtyard is ideal for mixing and mingling — with a louvered roof and walls that open on breezy days and closes to provide cover from rain and cold.

Second Floor

Foundry & Terrace

The Foundry, our stunning second floor, is drenched in natural light and can be configured for a seated dinner, a ceremony, or the perfect setting for cocktails and dancing. The Foundry has a private bar and also features a covered outdoor terrace and seating area.

The Den

Adjacent to The Foundry is The Den, an intimate, tucked-away lounge with custom denim walls, a gorgeous fireplace and large windows that allow the room to be drenched in natural light if desired. The Den may be configured to include a large dining table, multiple small dining tables or, for more casual gatherings, arranged with sofas and cocktail tables.

    Absolutely everything about this venue was phenomenal! Michele, the special events coordinator, was incredibly patient, helpful, and professional. She eased my concerns every step of the way.   • Ceremony and Reception
    We chose The Dawson for our ceremony & reception for its great food, drinks, and ambiance. Erin, the venue coordinator, patiently responded to our inquiries and helped us choose a package that worked best for us. When the day finally arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. From coordinating vendor (DJ, florist) arrivals, setting up the space, timing the entire evening, and being available to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible.   • Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party
    We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at The Dawson the evening before our wedding. Our plated dinner was for our wedding party and immediate family (about 45 people), and then we transitioned to an open bar and small bites welcome party with all guests invited (about 55 additional people). Some restaurants we reached out to were unable to accommodate an evening like this, but The Dawson was incredibly easy to work with. Sheena and Erin were great to work with. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves which was great, guests could mingle in a lounge area, bar area, or even outside on the upstairs patio. The Dawson provided a welcome sign and candles which was one less thing I had to worry about in the midst of wedding planning. Our family and friends raved about the food and the service. The Dawson was a perfect location to kick off our wedding weekend! - Sinead F.

    We chose The Dawson as our wedding venue for our intimate, 70-person wedding where we wanted to display one of our favorite neighborhood spots, that would highlight incredible food and a memorable night for us and our guests. Sheena, the Dawson’s event coordinator, is perhaps the most incredible person we could have worked with. Her ability to understand our needs and respond went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Her ability to go the second mile along with her superior ability to anticipate and react creatively was extremely appreciated. The atmosphere created by the Dawson’s staff during our event, the impeccable food and talented bartenders really made our night better than we could have imagined.     Couldn’t recommend this venue enough for an intimate wedding. We rented out the second floor and terrace for our ceremony and reception. It was breath taking! The big windows let in the most beautiful sunset during our cocktail hour. AND the food couldn’t be better. This place is amazing and the staff was so attentive and detail oriented. - Julia D.
