One-Night-Only Lowrider & Cultura Showcase

Friday, September 20 | 8PM–12AM | The Dawson Patio

The Dawson will welcome world-renowned photographer Estevan Oriol for a special evening that brings together art, music, lowriders, and cultura on the restaurant’s iconic River West patio.

Oriol, celebrated for his raw black-and-white photography, has spent over three decades documenting Los Angeles street life, hip-hop, and Chicano culture. His striking portraits of icons like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Kobe Bryant, alongside his vivid depictions of lowrider and street communities, have made him one of the most influential cultural photographers of our time.

This Chicago event offers a rare opportunity to experience Oriol’s work and influence firsthand. Guests can expect:

  • Photography & Limited Edition Merchandise: Oriol will showcase pieces of his work and have exclusive t-shirts available for purchase.

  • Lowrider Showcase: A curated lineup of classic lowriders will transform The Dawson’s patio into an open-air gallery.

  • Vendors & Music: Local vendors and DJs will highlight street culture, Latin heritage, and community connection.
